In-Process in Alma
Set your current location as
Cataloging
or
Technical Services
.
When working the
Physical Item Editor
, change the Process Type to
ACS Cataloging
(one of the dropdown options).
Once cataloging is complete and just prior to placing item on outgoing shipping shelf, perform the new
Scanning
step:
From the top menu: Acquisitions > Post-Receiving Processing >
Scan In Item.
MAKE SURE THAT YOUR LOCATION IS SET TO CATALOGING
.
Do
not
change the default Status (if visible).
Select
Done.
Scan in the
barcode.
Once done, please check ‘
Destination
’ and ‘
Request/Process Type
.’
Place the item on the outgoing shipping shelf.
NOTE:
Until further notice, Step 3 will happen during Step C process by on-site staff.
