German Studies at UIUC Library
The UIUC Library has traditionally been very strong in German studies. The collections and resources for German studies are spread across many departmental libraries. The bulk of the printed books are in the Main Stacks, accessible on the second floor of the Main Library.

- Karlsruhe Virtual CatalogThe KVC allows searching of library books around the world including 14 different German catalogs. The catalog is available in German or English.
- Gemeinsamer Verbundkatalog - GVB Union CatalogThis catalog covers the collections of the Common Library Network, which includes the libraries of seven German federal states and the Foundation of Prussian Cultural Heritage.
