Subclass DAW is a small part of the HPNL collection (about a dozen books), and it comprises works on central Europe as a whole. For works on specific nation-states of central Europe, see class DB. For works on Germany see subclass DD.
Subclass DB is also a relatively small collection (about 150 books), which focuses primarily on the Habsburg Empire (House of Austria) and its constituent regions and nation states.

Subclass DJK is for works on Eastern Europe as a region in general. Works on the history of specific Eastern European countries are classed elsewhere.
