Library Privileges after Separation
Retired staff living in Illinois can be issued an iCard and may borrow print materials (University of Illinois and I-Share items). See the link for details.
Any Illinois resident may apply for a courtesy card to borrow materials from the University of Illinois Library.
Online resource access
Off-campus access to online resources is limited to current students, faculty, staff, affiliates with official appointments, and Osher Lifelong Learning Institute (OLLI) members. Learn more about library privileges for OLLI members here

Please check your University Library accounts for University Library and I-Share materials before leaving the University. Check your ILLiad account for Interlibrary Loan materials.
Preserving Your Records and Data

These local organizations will accept book donations, but state regulations prohibit donation of state property:
