U of I Box Free Cloud Storage

The University of Illinois has partnered with the cloud storage system Box. Students, faculty, and staff have access to 50 GB of secure online storage.

Using Box is a great way to keep yourself and your data organized and safe when you need to work at multiple stations or collaboratively. It can also work in tandem with Word, iPhone, iPad, Android and Google Drive, among other programs, for automatic syncing, as well as viewing, uploading, and sharing files.

Box allows you to map to your network drive so you can store your stuff the way you would locally on your computer by dragging and dropping, making it an easy to use way to keep your files on the cloud.

For more about how to use Box, please see the following pages: Box.com LibGuide from U of I Scholarly Commons
