Finding English-Language Sources for Social Science Topics in Russia, Eastern Europe and Eurasia: World History in Video

There are a multitude of resources that will lead a student to English language materials for the region but some are particularly valuable. This guide will help the student to find those at the UIUC library website, highlighting some of the best.

Beyond YouTube

Everyone has used YouTube to find video materials on a topic but there are videos that may not be available there.  Those under copyright tend to have more restricted access.  We are fortunate to have this resource that will allow you to view documentaries on historical topics.  It has a simple interface that will allow you to browse the resources easily.  Full transcripts are available with the videos to make it easier to cite the content accurately.
