Tehran Research Unit (TRU) files containing administrative correspondence, budgets, activity reports, advisory committee papers and MUCIA correspondence concerning the administration and funding of a unit at the University of Tehran; Illinois faculty research projects in Iran relating to education, modernization, musicology and psycholinguistics; advisory assistance to Iranian educational programs; exchange of faculty and advanced degree students and the Teaching English as a second Language internship program in Iran. Personal correspondence includes that of TRU Directors William K. Archer, (1965-71), Edward E. Sullivan, Jr., (1971-72) and C. Ernest Dawn, (1972-74). Other Principal correspondents are George Brinigar, Royden Dangerfield, Thomas McGowen, Vernon K. Zimmerman, Sharon Wolfe and Thomas Hoemeke.
