The Library and the Wellness Committee are pleased to bring you the 2020 Staying Well at Home Library Challenge!
Starting Monday, April 6 through Sunday, May 3, you have the opportunity to participate in the Staying Well at Home Library Challenge.
Due to current events, the annual Library Walking Challenge is being modified to encourage participants to engage in healthy activities while being safe at home.
Rules and Procedures
AT THE END...
At the end of the four weeks, we'll calculate the total average of activities per week over the course of the 4 weeks. The goal is to average 5 activities per week.
Everyone who turns in their wellness activities on time for all four weeks will be eligible for a prize (courtesy of Dean Wilkin) if we meet our Library goal of averaging 5 activities per week per person. We will have a time set aside in May to hand out our prize. We can meet our challenge!
If you have any questions or concerns, please email Walk@library.illinois.edu. Folks from the Wellness Committee will be monitoring this email and answer your questions.
Remember...Do this for you! Do this to feel good and to be a better and healthier parent, spouse, friend, and co-worker. These are challenging times and we all need to take care of ourselves. This challenge is about encouragement and wellness!
Good luck and stay safe and well!
