Education In Video: Volume I and II This link opens in a new windowEducation in Video contains instructional videos intended to help train and develop teachers. The collection includes both real and staged sample teaching sessions set in a wide variety of classrooms. Multiple grade levels and countries are covered. It also includes documentaries and biographies with historical information about the education field. Many videos come with supplementary educational material available for download as a pdf.
Finding relevant videos
Browse:
From the left sidebar in the homepage, you can click on links that will take you to lists of videos arranged by topic, by experts and educators featured in the videos, and by grade level.
Search:
Click on the "Advanced Search" link in the toolbar at the top of the page to access the collection's excellent advanced search funcions. These allow you to limit results by type of video (for example performance, biography, or documentary) and also by date, grade level, and language. The search function defaults to searching the transcript and notes on the video.
