The Illio has been the University of Illinois' yearbook since 1895. You can find the complete set on the Internet Archive or you can find the yearbooks from 1970-1989 in a more easily browsable and searchable format as part of the Illinois Digital Magazine and Yearbook Collection. You can also find individual photos that have been scanned from the University Archives. Just click on the "On-line Images /Records" link and then click on "Images (browse thumbnails)".

Did you ever wonder what campus used to look like, or might have looked like if things had gone differently? You can search this collection or browse by building to find old photographs, drawings, and architectural plans for many of the University's buildings and even the campus as a whole. You can also check out the University Archives and browse an alphabetical list of images to look for names of buildings or locations on campus.

University Archives Disability-Related Digital Resources
Beginning in 1948, the University of Illinois developed the nation's first comprehensive program for students with disabilities. The programs documented in the University Archives helped empower people with disabilities and had a profound effect on public attitudes and the law. This page collects resources related to the history of these programs, including digitized texts, photographs, videos, and audio interviews.
University Archives
The University Archives have scanned many images and documents that are available online, from aerial photographs and maps to photographs of students and campus events.
Student Life and Culture Oral History Portal
The Student Life and Culture Archives collects, preserves, and makes available materials related to the student experience at U of I. This includes the Oral History Project, which collects sound files of interviews with people connected to the University on topics such as the Great Depression, World War II, the Civil Rights Movement, and student activism.

U of I Scholarship

IDEALS
IDEALS collects, disseminates, and provides persistent and reliable access to the research and scholarship of faculty, staff, and students at U of I. The IDEALS collection includes dissertations, published and unpublished articles, conference presentations, and Power Point slides.
Bronze Tablets
In 1925, the U of I began the tradition of inscribing the Bronze Tablets with the names of undergraduate students who have at least a 3.5 cumulative grade point-average through the academic term prior to graduation, and rank in the top three percent of the students in their graduating class. This collection shows high resolution photographs of each tablet. The physical tablets can be seen in the Main Library.
