Mendeley's Groups feature allows you to share documents and citations with others. With the basic Mendeley plan, private groups can only have 3 members and 100 MB of storage space for group resources. These private groups are visible only to members, who can share papers and notes.

Mendeley's Papers allows you to search directly on Mendeley's site for academic journal articles, conference proceedings, book sections, and web pages, and add these to your Mendeley library. This search will show statistics like times cited and times read for these items.
