About This Guide

Welcome!  This guide will focus on beginning resources for researching Mediterranean Studies.  This region encompasses thousands of years of history, changing political landscapes, and significant cultural influence, interaction, and conflict.  Please note that a greater focus on Classical Studies, covering ancient Greece, Rome, and neighboring countries, is offered in the Classics research guide.

Regions covered in this guide include:

  • Southern Europe: Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, France, Greece, Italy, Malta, Monaco, Montenegro, Slovenia, Spain, Turkey
