The Guide to the Euphonium Repertoire is a publication on the status of the euphonium in the history of the instrument. This volume documents the history, the wealth of repertoire, and the discography of the euphonium.

The Guide to the Tuba Repertoire is a comprehensive investigation into the literature and discography of the tuba. Under the direction of R. Winston Morris and Daniel Perantoni, this publication represents more than 40 years of research by dozens of leading professionals throughout the world.

These program notes, written by the composers themselves, describe 88 works for the solo tuba, including works for the tuba alone, tuba and piano, and tuba with other types of accompaniment. Each entry gives complete publication data, a history of the piece, its instrumentation and movements, and a description of its musical structure and characteristics.

This resource is an annotated bibliography written as part of a doctoral research project in order to provide a resource for all tuba performers on published unaccompanied solo literature for the tuba. The annotations appear in alphabetical order by the composer, with each entry including both factual information about the composition and information of a performance nature as well as commentary by the author.
