Palestinian Israeli Conflict Through Cinema (SAME 199, JS199, CWL199): How to use the Library

Searching the Library Catalog

  1. Go to the Library Catalog.
  2. In the search box, type the title.
  3. In the drop down box next to the search box, change "Keywords" to "Title".
  4. Click the Search button to view the results of your search. Then in the right-hand "Narrow Your Search" menu choose "Film or Video."

  2. In the search box, type the name of the director, actor, performer, or related individual you are looking for.
  3. Click the Search button to view the results of your search. Then in the right-hand "Narrow Your Search" menu choose "Film or Video." 
  1. Go to the Classic Library Catalog
  2. Click on Advanced Search.
  3. Click on the More Limits button (lower right corner of screen).
  4. Select Undergraduate Media Collection under the Location heading.
  5. Click Set Limits. Red bold text will appear on the screen stating: "Search Limits are in effect!"
  6. In the "Search for" box, type "videorecording" without the quotation marks.
  7. In the drop down box next to to this choose "these words as a phrase."
  8. In the last drop down box choose "Title Words."
  9. Click the Search button to view the results of your search. To view the full record for an item, click on the title.
