Many of these resources separated by methodology under the Methods tab including GIS, Large Language Models and AI, Policy Analysis, Discourse / Text Analysis, etc. The Open Source Intelligence Data and Information and Research Resources for Graduate Students tabs are starting points to find data sets, and help for in-depth questions, access issues, and anything else you may need as you work on your project! Enjoy!

Theory

The resources below provide a recent overview of theoretical arguments in the broad field of Global Studies and its methods through summary and analysis of recent scholarship and terminology. This will provide you with the background information and theoretical base to better articulate why your research questions and methods matter. It is important to understand and use the terminologies in these sources, as they are the language of global studies and methods used to communicate with other researchers and practitioners in the field.
