College of Engineering Annual Reports (Record Series 11/1/3): Contains reports and correspondence relating to educational developments and requests for laboratory space; activities of student societies and committees; development of library resources for the college; faculty publications and research initiatives; data on student attendance and placement; public programs; and the activities of the Experiment Station. Alumni Papers and Student Organization Records
Frederick W. Panhorst Papers (Record Series 26/20/34): Includes correspondence concerning job applications and membership in the Society of Civil Engineers; student records including Triangle Fraternity membership certificate (1914); American Society of Civil Engineers membership diploma (1933) and certificate of election as Director (1946-1948); photographs of California highway bridges; a typescript entitled "No Substitute for Experience" containing reminiscences of childhood, grade school, high school, and college (1970); and a commemorative scrapbook honoring Panhorst for his service as an engineer with the Bridge Department of the California Division of Highways (1927-1960).
College of Engineering Historical File, 1908-1996: Includes select correspondence, reports, programs, brochures, and newsletters concerning the Engineering Open House, the renaming of the Engineering Research Laboratory as the Mechanical Engineering Laboratory (1966), the renaming of the Department of Aeronautical Engineering as the Department of Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering (1961), the dedication of the William L.
