What is an annotated bibliography?

A bibliography is a list of information sources that you have used or plan to use in a research. When you list a source, you should provide enough information about it for your readers to be able to find it. This information is referred to as a citation.

Annotated bibliographies include summaries and/or evaluations of each citation in the list.

Below is an example of a citation and it's annotation:
