Directed by John van Wyhe and funded by the Arts and Humanities Research Council, this collection is the largest collection of works related to Charles Darwin, including his complete works and supplementary works by others.
The Washington University School of Medicine Bernard Becker Medical Library provides images and information on hearing devices from the 19th and 20th century. Included is an image gallery, rare books and information on historical marketing.
Now maintained by the Lewis and Clark Fort Mandan Foundation, the Discovering Lewis and Clark collection contains information on the explorers, including map images, natural history information, journal entries and more from their famous expedition.

Oregon State University Libraries provides a collection that details the history of the chemical bond theory with manuscripts and multimedia. There is even a collection of Pauling’s personal calendar from 1930 through 1939, and 1954.
