- Bureau of Justice StatisticsThis government agency collects, analyzes, and publishes information on crime, victims of crime, crime offenders, and systems of justice. On the left side tabs list, click on 'Crime Type.' There is a tab specific to gangs. There are also peripheral tabs on violent crimes and drug related crimes.
- Statistical Abstract of the United States This link opens in a new windowData sets on crimes and crime rates in America. A good resource for broad statistics on topics such as geography, demographics, crime, and income.
