Introduction

The ACES Library, Information and Alumni Center (LIAC) holds a number of paintings and sculptures, many of which are related to the history of agriculture at the University of Illinois.

4) Portrait of Ralph Allen by Lucy Allen Hopkins

Ralph Allen was an Illinois agriculture pioneer and leader. He graduated with a Bachelor's in Agriculture from the University of Illinois in 1876 and earned an honorary Master's in 1894.
