Communication and Librarian Co-authorship

Communication

A major component of evidence synthesis project work is the management of a team. Team communications require ongoing and effective communications of all aspects of the project. Setting up consistent team communication strategy is an essential first step of the project. This includes writing a protocol, delineating roles, definition communication channels and more.

Librarian co-authorship

Due to the substantial amount of work that librarians engage in when collaborating on Evidence Synthesis, librarians are often Co-PI co-authors and acknowledged on Evidence Synthesis. See the University Library Guidelines for Including Systematic Reviews and Evidence Synthesis Activities in Dossier (rev. Nov 2024)

    2. Feel free to make any notes for yourselves on topics to cover during the research consultation cover; however you are most comfortable

  1. To Prepare for the role of Researcher/Querist receiving the Research Consultation
    1. Create a fictional persona – must be a researcher, faculty or graduate student (1-2 sentences)
    2. Create a real research question that you might be interested in investigating and have some background knowledge
