A major component of evidence synthesis project work is the management of a team. Team communications require ongoing and effective communications of all aspects of the project. Setting up consistent team communication strategy is an essential first step of the project. This includes writing a protocol, delineating roles, definition communication channels and more.
Due to the substantial amount of work that librarians engage in when collaborating on Evidence Synthesis, librarians are often Co-PI co-authors and acknowledged on Evidence Synthesis. See the University Library Guidelines for Including Systematic Reviews and Evidence Synthesis Activities in Dossier (rev. Nov 2024)
You will be paired off in teams of two and placed in the role as either the Librarian giving the Systematic Review/Evidence Synthesis (SR/ES) research consult intake or the Researcher/querist asking for help on an SR/ES. Next week, you will flip roles.
