National Counterterrorism Center – 2014 Counterterrorism Calendar – This interactive online resource features terrorism information, terrorist profiles, terrorist group details, as well as an interactive timeline and interactive map.

Stanford University – Mapping Militants – “This research project traces the evolution of militant organizations and the interactions that develop between them over time. Findings are presented in interactive “maps,” which provide both (1) visual representations of how relationships among militant organizations change over time and (2) links to in-depth profiles of individual groups.”

International Monetary Fund - Anti-Money Laundering/Combating the Financing of Terrorism (AML/CFT) – Information about terrorism funding and the IMF’s controls against such actions.

100 Core and Periphery Journals for Terrorism Research - This resource collection lists journals that are deemed to be most helpful for serious researchers. It contains both subscription-based and open-access journals, most of them peer-reviewed. 

Counter-Terrorism Think Tanks

Bangladesh Institute of Peace and Security Studies (BIPSS) -  a non party, nonprofit organization and independent think tank which provides significant platform for the leading strategic thinkers, academics, former members of the civil, foreign and armed services and media persons to chalk out a comprehensive framework for peace and security issues.

Centre for Safety and Security - conducts research on terrorism, counterterrorism, political activism and radicalization.

Global Terrorism Research Centre (GTReC) – This think tank works to analyze contemporary terrorism, and related issues on national security, human security and social cohesion.

Institute for National Security and Counterterrorism (INSCT) - A multidisciplinary, university-based center for the study of national and international security and terrorism, the Institute for National Security and Counterterrorism (INSCT) offers law and graduate studies and conducts incisive research and timely policy analysis.

International Institute for Counter-Terrorism - ICT is an independent think tank providing expertise in terrorism, counter-terrorism, homeland security, threat vulnerability, risk assessment, intelligence analysis, national security and defense policy.
