Social justice for the purposes of our classroom is the study of perspectives, laws, and philosophies regarding the distribution of wealth, commodities, opportunities, and privileges in any given community.  We will research the ways that laws and policies, race, gender, proximity/location, wealth, religion, ability, and people affect the public health system in other countries, the US, Illinois, and Champaign-Urbana.
