The Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) is an independent, not-for-profit, physician-led organization that sets and monitors the professional educational standards essential in preparing physicians to deliver safe, high-quality medical care to all Americans.
AAMC - The Electronic Residency Application Service® (ERAS®) is the centralized online application service you’ll use to deliver your application, along with supporting documents, to residency programs.
The ACGME Data Resource Book was developed to provide an easy-to-use collection of current and historical data related to the accreditation process. The book is intended to be a concise reference for policymakers, residency/fellowship program directors, institutional officials, and others to identify and clarify issues affecting the accreditation of graduate medical education programs.
The ACGME produces a variety of publications and resources throughout the year. Within this section are links to the Journal of Graduate Medical Education (JGME) website, books, reports, papers and other tools produced by the ACGME on topics in graduate medical education.
This online resource of the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) contains the 1942-1943 through 2000-2001 copyrighted editions of The Graduate Medical Education Directory, also known as “The Green Books,” published by the American Medical Association (AMA).
