This is the first in a series of guides on locating unexpected content in the Farm, Field and Fireside collection of farm newspapers and periodicals. The guide is organized thematically around research topics that we think you'll find interesting. The topics listed here are by no means exhaustive, and we hope you'll want to explore the collection to discover other topics.

Most of these topics also have supplementary guides that provide more in depth information on how to research the topic, including tips on finding related material elsewhere in the Library's collections.
