Grainger Library's Standard Collection has a wide array of engineering standards in both physical copies and E-standards. Grainger's physical standards are on the West Wing of the third floor, while e-standards are available through their publisher's platforms. More information on finding and accessing standards can be found on the first and second tabs of this guide.

Our collection focuses on gathering recent standards that are relevant to courses and research interests on campus. If you've found a standard that we don't have access to, and would like to request a purchase, please email enginlib@illinois.edu with the information of the standard.

If you're interested in requesting the purchase of a standard, here are a few policies to keep in mind:

• Please make sure that the standard you're requesting is the most current edition.
• The standard is in print format.
  • Our e-standards are available through their publisher's platforms, and further information is available in the first tab, "Guide for Finding Standards".
• There are no restrictions on purchasing standards from other countries.
• Standards that support courses, active research, and graduate and post-graduate theses and dissertations will be given priority to purchase.
