ICF is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that uses teams of highly trained certified dogs and handlers to locate historic and prehistoric burial sites for the purpose of protection and preservation and to locate cremains in buildings burned in California wildfires.

Held at the Forensic Anthropology Center, Texas State University offers seminars to train Human Remains Detection dogs at multiple points in their career: from habituation to active deployment.
