Gerión: Revista de historia antigua es una revista que fue fundada en 1983 con periodicidad anual. En 2002 pasó a tener periodicidad semestral y en 2012 de nuevo anual. Recoge en sus páginas artículos originales y una selección de reseñas de obras de reciente publicación (en todos los idiomas académicos) sobre temas relativos a las Ciencias de la Antigüedad, con especial dedicación a la Historia Antigua. También acepta trabajos de otros campos que inciden directamente sobre esta materia: Epigrafía, Arqueología, Filología, etc.

Die Zeitschrift „Germania. Anzeiger der Römisch-Germanischen Kommission des Deutschen Archäologischen Instituts“ wird seit 1917 von der Römisch-Germanischen Kommission zunächst unter dem Titel „Korrespondenzblatt der Römisch-Germanischen Kommission des kaiserlichen Archäologischen Instituts“, dann „… des Deutschen Archäologischen Instituts“ herausgegeben. Aktuelle Vorberichte zu Grabungen, Forschungsbeiträge und Studien, Diskussionsbeiträge sowie ein umfangreicher Rezensionsteil prägen die Zeitschrift bis heute. Das „Korrespondenzblatt der Römisch-Germanischen Kommision…“ wiederum folgte auf das bereits von 1908-1916 von Prof. Dr. Emil Krüger, dem damaligen Direktor des Provinzialmuseums in Trier, herausgegebene „Römisch-germanische Korrespondenzblatt: Nachrichten für römisch-germanische Altertumsforschung“.

Die Aufsätze werden in deutscher, englischer und französischer Sprache gedruckt und unterliegen einem Peer Review-Verfahren. Sie decken Themen von der Steinzeit bis ins Mittelalter und von fachgeschichtlichen bis naturwissenschaftlichen Untersuchungen ab.

Giornale Italiano di Filologia is an Italian international journal of studies in philology, considering all the accepted meanings of the word and all facets of this utmost interdisciplinary subject. Articles published in the journal may therefore include contributions from linguists, historians, experts of antiquities, editors and exegetes of texts. Contributions cover the Greek and Roman world up to the Latin Middle Ages and may include forays into Romance Philology.

The Journal was founded in 1948 by Enzo V. Marmorale and was subsequently directed by Virgilio Paladini (1970-1971) and Nino Scivoletto (1972-2007), succeded by the actual chief editor Carlo Santini (Perugia). The editorial board is formed by Giorgio Bonamente (Perugia), Paolo Fedeli (Bari) and Giovanni Polara (Naples), who are supported by an international scientific committee whose members are Maria Grazia Bonanno, Carmen Codoñer, Roberto Cristofoli, Emanuele Dettori, Hans-Christian Günther, David Konstan, Julián Méndez Dosuna, Aires Nascimento, Heinz-Günter Nesselrath, François Paschoud, Carlo Pulsoni, Johann Ramminger, Fabio Stok.

Begründet von Paul Kretschmer und Franz Skutsch. Nach 1945 fortgesetzt von Paul Kretschmer und Bruno Snell. Herausgegeben von Michael Meier-Brügger und Gerhard Meiser. Die Zeitschrift erscheint seit 1909 in zwangloser Folge. Vor allem sprachgeschichtliche, strukturelle und etymologische Untersuchungen werden publiziert; Beiträge in deutscher oder englischer Sprache. Zum Beirat gehören Antonio Lillo Alcaraz (Murcia), Thomas Lindner (Salzburg), Witold Manczak (Kraków), Georges-Jean Pinault (Paris), Brent Vine (Los Angeles), Rudolf Wachter (Basel/Lausanne), Andreas Willi (Oxford).

As a critical journal for all classical studies, the Gnomon fosters the links between the distinct classical disciplines. It has thus an exceptional position among the classical review journals and allows familiarization with research and publications in neighboring disciplines. The reviews address an international readership from all fields in classical studies. The Gnomon publishes reviews in German, English, French, Italian and Latin.

Published with the wider audience in mind, Greece & Rome features informative and lucid articles on ancient history, art, archaeology, religion, philosophy, and the classical tradition. Although its content is of interest to professional scholars, undergraduates and general readers who wish to be kept informed of what scholars are currently thinking will find it engaging and accessible. All Greek and Latin quotations are translated. A subscription to Greece & Rome includes a supplement of New Surveys in the Classics. GRBS is a peer-reviewed quarterly journal devoted to the culture and history of Greece from Antiquity to the Renaissance, featuring research on all aspects of the Hellenic world from prehistoric antiquity through the Greek, Roman, and Byzantine periods, including studies of modern classical scholarship.

The Editorial Committee of Harvard Studies in Classical Philology welcomes all submissions dealing with any aspects of the civilizations of ancient Greece and Rome. In considering submissions for publication in Harvard Studies, we adhere to an inclusive definition of what constitutes philology, and we welcome variety in approaches to the study of the ancient world. The breadth of categories in L'année philologique provides us with a model.
In addition to scholarship on language and written texts from the ancient world, HSCP publishes work, for example, on ancient history, philosophy, art history, and the reception of classical culture in late antiquity, the medieval period, and beyond. Illustrations will be accommodated when submissions require them. HSCP accepts for publication articles of extended scope as well as short notes. Contributors receive fifty complimentary offprints of their articles after publication. Copies of HSCP may be obtained through Harvard University Press.

Harvard Theological Review has been a central forum for scholars of religion since its founding in 1908. It continues to publish compelling original research that contributes to the development of scholarly understanding and interpretation in the history and philosophy of religious thought in all traditions and periods - including the areas of Judaic studies, Hebrew Bible, New Testament, Christianity, archaeology, comparative religious studies, theology and ethics.

Helios is a forum for the scholarly synthesis of close readings of philological text with contemporary critical approaches. Articles analyzing Greek and Roman literature and cultural history employ feminist theory, poststructuralism and deconstruction, psychoanalysis, reader-response theory, and current theoretical models.

Helmántica comenzó su andadura el año 1950, como órgano de expresión de aquella recién aparecida Facultad de Humanidades Clásicas. Actualmente, ha ampliado el campo de su especialidad, y comprende cuanto se refiere a la filología clásica y hebrea. Su proyección hacia la filología, tanto clásica como hebrea entendida en su más amplio y rico sentido, se advierte bien claramente en todos sus números que, con ejemplar puntualidad, llegan a nuestros lectores. Hermathena is a Trinity College Dublin Review, published under the auspices of the Department of Classics in the School of Histories and Humanities. Printed since 1873 without break, it is one of the longest-running classical journals in the world. It features articles about the Classical and Near Eastern worlds of Antiquity, and their extension into modern times. Contributions are welcomed from leading scholars in the field. Guest editors are on occasion invited to edit special issues on particular themes. All articles submitted for publication are sent out for peer review. Appearing twice yearly, the journal enjoys a world-wide audience.

Het NKV geeft vijf keer per jaar Hermeneus uit, een geïllustreerd, populair wetenschappelijk tijdschrift.

Het blad Hermeneus belicht alle aspecten van de klassieke beschaving: van Zeus tot Achilles, van Homerus tot Augustinus, van Socrates tot Plotinus, van Perikles tot Constantijn, van opgravingen tot musea. Hermes, founded in 1866, is an international peer-reviewed journal, focusing on classical philology. It also features articles on Greek and Roman history, archaeology, epigraphy and numismatics. One of the oldest German journals of its kind, it was founded by Theodor Mommsen, Adolf Kirchhoff and Rudolf Hercher. The original editor was Emil Hübner. Today Hermes is edited by Siegmar Döpp, Karl-Joachim Hölkeskamp and Adolf Köhnken and contains original articles in German, English, French and Italian.

Hesperia is published quarterly by the American School of Classical Studies at Athens. Founded in 1932 to publish the work of the School, the journal now welcomes submissions from all scholars working in the fields of Greek archaeology, art, epigraphy, history, materials science, ethnography, and literature, from earliest prehistoric times onward. Hesperia is a refereed journal, available in both print and electronic formats.

Historia is an international, peer-reviewed journal focusing on Greek and Roman antiquity. Original articles feature research on Greek and Hellenistic history, the Roman Republic and Empire as well as late antiquity. It covers all aspects of political, economic, religious and social life and deals with legal, archaeological, numismatic and epigraphical questions. Historia was founded in 1952 by Karl Friedrich Stroheker and Gerold Walser. Currently the journal is edited by Kai Brodersen, Mortimer Chambers, Martin Jehne, Mischa Meier and Walter Scheidel.

Hortus Artium Medievalium is the annual journal of the International Research Center for Late Antiquity and Middle Ages (Motovun, Croatia), established in 1993. The journal has a particular interest in studying artefacts for the history of art, and to study the period from Late Antiquity to the end of the Gothic period in an interdisciplinary, international and diachronic fashion. An annual colloquium gathers appropriate specialists, from which the papers are drawn.
