How to Find Media

Use this guide to find and utilize media sources.

Viewing Rights

In order to show a film or other media in your courses, the item in question must have been granted Public Performance Rights; you can find out if something in our collection has been granted Public Performance Rights by looking at the "Terms Governing Use and Reproduction" in the item's catalog record.

If the "Terms Governing Use and Reproduction" field says that the item has Public Performance Rights, this means that it can be shown to groups as long as no admission is charged.

If the item you wish to screen does not have Public Performance Rights, or if you have more questions, please view the Public Performance Rights policy, or contact the Acquisitions Department.
