Anatomic Pathology Reading List (Phase II, Ames)

"For the Phase II Ames exams (anatomic and clinical pathology), journal articles in print or electronically released before March 1st, 2016 are considered in preparation for the exam. Please note that this cut-off date is one year earlier than previous years.

"The following textbooks and journals provided references for approximately 80% of the questions of the indicated sections of the certifying examinations over the past several years. These lists are arranged in alphabetical order. Particularly with the textbooks, it is important to recognize that one of several texts on a given subject may suffice; it is not necessarily advisable to read multiple textbooks on the same subject. For each book cited, the edition used in test preparation is indicated below. For journal articles, most were published within the last 5 years. These lists are not all-inclusive lists, and the exam will not necessarily be limited to these references."
