Mathematician and Journalist

Math Carnival - Gathering for Gardner 2017

The Mathemathics Library created a hands-on book exhibit to celebrate the Department of Mathematics' Math Carnival - Gathering for Gardner on Saturday, January 28, 2017 from 2-5 p.m. in Altgeld Hall. This hands-on book exhibit recreates the 2014 Gathering for Gardner exhibit.

University of Illinois Gardner 100 - Gathering for Gardner 2014

Gathering for Gardner 2014 was held to honor the achievements of popular mathematics writer Martin Gardner who, for over 50 years, entertained general audiences with a rich variety of mathematical puzzles.

The Gardner Exhibit was on display in the Mathematics Library October 11-31, 2014.
