The Statue: "Quintessential Engineer"

"The Quintessential Engineer," located outside the Micro + Nanotechnology Laboratory on the north Engineering Quad, is the product of a campaign started four years ago by Engineering alumna Sakshi Srivastava. The statue was created by Chicago sculptor Julie Rotblatt-Amrany and was financed by Texas Instruments (TI) to hopefully inspire both current and future female engineering students at the University.
