The Library has produced several collections of digital images--these collections include historical maps, German emblem books, French World War I posters, and Irish cartoons. These collections are available at http://images.library.uiuc.edu/projects/

- Born in Slavery: Slave Narratives from the Federal Writers' ProjectOver 2,300 personal narratives about slavery as well as 500 black-and-white photographs of former slaves. Also available from the University of Virginia as American Slave Narratives.
