Background Information

Climate change, sometimes referred to as "global warming", is the modification of Earth's climate due to changes in the atmosphere and other factors. Adopted in 2015, the Paris Agreement (the successor to the 2005 Kyoto Protocol) was the first universal and binding agreement between 195 countries to prevent rapid climate change by attempting to limit global warming to below two degrees Celsius.
