Your Library Accounts
When you become an OLLI member, you are not automatically entered into the University system. OLLI members with an active Annual Membership who live within a 50-mile radius of OLLI at Illinois can request an iCard (which includes library access) by submitting the OLLI Scholars iCard Request Form.
Once your request is processed and the University has you set up in the system, you will receive a NetID and password that you will use to login to your library account, as well as our online resources.
PLEASE NOTE: If you need to reset your NetID account password for any reason, please contact Technology Services directly. The Library cannot help you with your NetID and password.
Your online library account
You will need to log in to your library account to request materials and pick them up at a library (e.g. ACES or Main Stacks) of your choosing. Please consult the instructions for logging in to your library account if needed. When logging in, select University of Illinois users. You can also renew items and view other personal account information through your account. If you have questions about your library account or are having trouble logging in, please call Central Access Services at 217-333-8400. Often, they will have to manually enter the barcode on your iCard to get OLLI patrons established.
Online resources
Your NetID and password are used to view online resources such as newspapers and magazines. You do not need to be logged into your library account to do this.
Your iCard

Your library card number is located on your i-card under the heading "Library." You will need your i-card to check out a physical item from the Library, or to browse the Main Stacks at the Main Library. The Library cannot accept any other form of identification to check out materials, there are no exceptions.
