The Roper Center for Public Opinion Research, currently located at Cornell University, is one of the world’s leading archives of social science data, specializing in data from public opinion surveys. The data held range from the 1930s to the present. Most of the data are from the United States, but over 50 nations are represented.
Social Explorer
Social Explorer is an online research tool designed to provide quick and easy access to current and historical census data and demographic information. The easy-to-use web interface lets users create maps and reports to better illustrate, analyze and understand demography and social change.

Data.gov
Data.gov provides public access to machine readable datasets generated by the executive branch of the United States federal government. It includes a searchable data catalog that includes access to data in two ways: through the "raw" data catalog and using tools.
Statista
Provides access to statistics and studies gathered by market researchers, trade organizations, scientific publications, and government sources on over 600 industries.
Agricultural Research Services - Datasets
These datasets range from chemistry and biochemistry to food science and nutrition.
The Census of Agriculture
The Census is conducted every 5 years, and provides a detailed report of U.S. farms and ranches and the people who operate them.
National Agricultural Statistics Service (NASS)
Conducts surveys and prepares reports on a wide range of U.S. agriculture-production and supplies of food and fiber, prices paid and received by farmers, farm labor and wages, farm finances, chemical use, and changes in the demographics of U.S. producers. Historical data varies by commodity or data point, but some go back to the 1800s.
