The Poet and Philospher

Known mostly as a poet, Tagore wrote novels, essays, short stories, travelogues, dramas, and thousands of songs. His works are frequently noted for their rhythmic, optimistic, and lyrical nature. Tagore's wrote on history, language, politics and philosphy. Some of his most intense philosophical works can be found in his letters to his freinds and colleagues world wide.
