Information for Allied Organizations

The University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign Library recognizes a number of affiliated organizations, including those holding allied status. This guide is intended to help members of allied organizations discover which Library resources are accessible to them and how to use those resources.

Staff members and others associated with allied organizations may receive access to Library resources and services based on their status. Our allied and affiliated organizations are:

• Allied Agencies - Consists of governmental bodies that are directly associated with the University, support specific aspects of the University's mission and are located in the Urbana-Champaign community.
• Research Park at the University of Illinois - Consists of private companies that are located in the University of Illinois Research Park.
• Osher Lifelong Learning Institute - The Osher Lifelong Learning Institute (OLLI) at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign is part of a national network that recognizes learning has no age limits. Through a rich array of lifelong learning opportunities, members are inspired to take a fresh look at themselves, their world, and the possibilities that await them.
