A guide to using the Library during the shutdown. Intended for patrons of the History, Philosophy, and Newspaper Library, and the African American Research Center

  • Religious Studies,
  • And any research using newspapers as primary sources.

Email us at hpnl@library.illinois.edu, and we will respond as quickly as possible. Please also use this email for inquiries about books or microforms from our collections that might be charged to your account.

HPNL Office Hours

We are on call Monday through Friday, from 9:00 to 5:00, for virtual research consultations. We will respond to all research consultation requests as quickly as possible, usually within half an hour. Please schedule a consultation by emailing us (hpnl@library.illinois.edu).
