PubMed for Veterinary Medicine: About PubMed

Description

The premier source of biomedical literature in North America, PubMed was created and is maintained by the National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) and the National Library of Medicine (NLM).

PubMed contains more than 24 million references to articles in more than 5,600 journals.  This includes references from approximately 110 veterinary and laboratory animal journals.

PubMed is free to search for anyone with an internet connection, which makes it a great resource for veterinarians. UIUC affiliates should use the customized version of PubMed linked below, which includes links to full text from the library.
