About WorldCat

WorldCat is a worldwide online library catalog that allows you to search the collections of thousands of libraries from around the world. UIUC students, faculty, and staff can place an Interlibrary Loan request for materials not available through our catalog or the I-Share catalog directly from the WorldCat item page. 

Accessing WorldCat

Ways to access:

  1. From the Funk ACES Library homepage, click the "Quick Links" drop-down menu at the top of the page, then select "WorldCat."
  2. From the University Library homepage, click the "Find Materials" button, then select "WorldCat Collection." 
  3. From the A-Z Databases webpage, search for "WorldCat."
