A guide to using the ArtStor database.

About ArtStor

The ArtStor Digital Library is a nonprofit resource that provides access to over 2 million digital images, as well as an accessible suite of software tools for teaching and research. Subjects covered include architecture, painting, sculpture, photography, decorative arts, design, anthropology, ethnographic and women studies, and other forms of visual culture. 

Accessing ArtStor

Ways to access:

  1. From the Funk Library homepage, under "Funk Library supports research for," select "City Planning and Landscape Architecture." This will take you to the City Planning and Landscape Architecture Virtual Library. From there, under "Key Databases," select "ArtStor."
  2. From the A-Z Databases webpage, search for "ArtStor."
