The Literature and Languages Library at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign hosts a collection of books dedicated to Emblematic Studies as research resources for students, instructors, and scholars interested in further researching emblem books. The books making up this collection are the most prominent in the field, handpicked by experts with many years of working with them in various forms. This circulating collection includes books in different languages that cover various modes of thinking in relation to emblem books as well as more broadly books pertaining to art and the time period in which the emblem books were written. All of the items are located around the walls of the main reading room next to the Reference collection in a clearly labeled section. |
