ProQuest Dissertations and Theses (PQDT) is a comprehensive collection of citations to dissertations and theses worldwide. It is a multidisciplinary database covering arts, business, education, humanities, social sciences, and the behavioral, natural, and physical sciences. Full-text is available for most of the dissertations added since 1997, and some older graduate works. PQDT is also the official digital dissertations archive for the Library of Congress. Also included are the citations to British and Irish dissertations and theses (PQDT: UK & Ireland). 

Ways to Access:

1. From the Funk Library homepage, under "Popular Resources," select "Databases by Subject & A-Z." This will bring you to the Databases A-Z webpage. From here, search for "ProQuest Dissertations and Theses." 
2. From the University Library Gateway, under the Easy Search box, click the "Find Materials" button. Then, scroll down to "Dissertations & Theses." This will take you to a LibGuide titled "How to Find Dissertations and Theses." Links to PQDT can be found under the "University of Illinois Dissertations" tab, as well as the "Non-Illinois Dissertations" tab.
