The databases listed to the right are some of the best resources for the Feminist Academy. You can search them to find articles in peer reviewed journals, magazines, and newspapers. 

The University of Illinois subscribes to many, many online databases and resources, which are indexed in Online Journals and Databases. Search this index by title or subject to find online journals and databases relating to your topic.

Keywords

To find articles, you will want to try a combination of keywords related to what you are interested in. Using two keywords will get you more narrow results; three is usually best. Try different combinations of terms related to "grassroots", "feminism", and "activism" using the keywords below in the databases listed on this page.
