Student Life and Culture Archival Program: How do you search the archives

Archives designed to record student culture at the University of Illinois.

Finding archives at Illinois

The archives have their own database and the holdings cannot be searched through the library catalog.  The archives database, Archon, is structured quite differently from the library database.  Instead of the call number, you will need to record the record series number,  like a  call number you will need it when requesting any file from the archives. See "Searching Archon"  below for more general information on searching and see "How do I read an Archon record" for detail.
