How to Find Academic Conferences

Conference papers are often the only record of new, important research developments, but they are not always published right away. If you are unable to attend a conference, you can stay current by browsing for speakers and their presentations in conference listings.

  • Conference Alerts provides email updates of conferences matching your interests.
  • The ACM Calendar of Events is an excellent source for finding conferences related to the computing sciences and professions.
  • H-net is a great resources for conferences and calls for papers in the Social Sciences and Humanities.

To find published conference papers, see our guide on How to Find Conference Proceedings.
