International Student Guide to Using the MPAL

Using Writing Resources

This page is meant to provide you with some resources for improving your writing skills and getting answers to your writing questions. The Online Writing Resources box shows webages that provide grammar rules, study skills, in-depth information on the writing process, and various writing exercises for ESL students. The box at the bottom of the page, Resources at MPAL, provides links to books in the library catalog that specifically address issues in writing about music. Immediately below are several links to writing resources on campus through the Center for Writing Studies. Remember, if you have questions you can always ask a reference librarian or stop in at one of the Writers Workshop locations on campus and someone will be glad to help you.
