Borrowing Books and Journals
- Books. Undergraduate students may check out books from any University library for 4 weeks. CARLI state library consortium loans are generally for 4 weeks for undergraduate students, but may vary. The Chemistry Library in 170 Noyes Lab is a convenient location for students in MCB and IB to pick up and return books.
- Journals. Please refer to the circulation policies at the website for the library that has materials you are interested in, or contact a librarian for more information (see Basic Information).
- Reserves. Course Reserves materials for the Schools of Integrative Biology (SIB) and Molecular & Cellular Biology (SMCB) and occasionally other courses are primarily held at the Funk ACES Library. To find reserve items, see Find and Use Course Reserves.
- Fines. You are responsible for returning materials on time. Check due dates and renew materials with the Online Library Catalog. Click on "My Account," and login with your Borrower Identification Number and last name.
