EEBO-TCP is a related database created through the Text Creation Partnership (TCP) project based at the University of Michigan. The TCP creates "standardized, digitally-encoded editions of early print books" from EEBO, as well as Eighteenth Century Collections Online (ECCO) and Evans Early American Imprints.
Thus far, over 27,000 EEBO documents have been made available in standardized, TEI-encoded full text versions. This means that the EEBO-TCP database searches a much more accurate and precise corpus of documents, and the clean and keyed full texts can viewed in the results.
More information about EEBO-TCP can be accessed through the Literatures and Languages Library's Online Resources page, and the Text Creation Partnership in general is available here.
